About
A prediction market for Kenya.
What NdioLa is, the two things it does differently, and who operates it.
NdioLa is a prediction market for Kenya. People trade shares in the outcome of a public question — an inflation print, a policy decision, a launch schedule — and each share pays KSh 10 if the outcome it names occurs, and nothing if it does not.
The name is the product. Ndio is Swahili for yes, La for no, and every market resolves to one of them.
What we do differently
Every market names its settlement source up front. Not in a footnote and not on a detail page only — on the card, in the same position every time, before you open anything. A question whose source cannot be named is not a market NdioLa lists. This is the whole difference between settlement you can check and settlement you have to take on faith.
Filtering runs on two axes, not one. Category and region are separate controls, because a reader in Nairobi cares about Kenyan, East African and global questions differently, and collapsing that into a single row of chips throws the distinction away.
What we will not list, and why, is written out in full on What we don’t list.

Where the product is
This site is a preview. Accounts are not open, no money can be deposited, and every price and volume shown anywhere on it is illustrative rather than traded. Nothing here has settled.
